Registration is now open for Porchfest 2023. The annual fall celebration of Athens music, history, and community founded by Historic Athens is returning for the fifth year. This year’s event will see the addition of the historic Reese-West Hancock Neighborhood, the first African American residential area in Athens to be recognized as a Local Historic District. In 2022, Porchfest showcased over 160 concerts in six historic neighborhoods, with more than 12,000 people attending. This year’s event is scheduled for Sunday, October 15th.
