A six-month long investigation by the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of an Auburn man. According to release from the office, 52-year old Joseph Vanderford is charged with multiple counts of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Sale of Methamphetamine. The arrest comes after the Narcotics Unit and SAWT team executed a search warrant at a home on Fred Kilcrease Road in Auburn Tuesday. Deputies seized seven pounds of meth, several “Ecstasy” pills and two guns. More charges are pending.
