Biden announces visit to Georgia

President Biden announces a future visit to Dalton, Georgia for the groundbreaking of a manufacturing plant.

Biden spoke in West Columbia, South Carolina on July 6th as a part of his "Investing in America" tour, touting manufacturing jobs he has created ahead of the 2024 election.

“Since I took office, we’ve seen over 60 domestic manufacturing announcements across the solar supply chain,” Biden said. “One of the biggest is in Dalton, Georgia. You may find it hard to believe, but that’s in Marjorie Taylor Greene’s district. I’ll be there for the groundbreaking.”

Greene voted along with all House Republicans against Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, which he says has created 18,000 jobs.

The president’s visit to South Carolina comes a week after former President Trump’s large rally in Pickens.
