Classic Center's Paul Cramer on Arena Project

Athens-Clarke County Commissioners have decided to postpone a vote on whether or not to approve a third bond for the Classic Center Arena Project. Classic Center Director Paul Cramer discussed the project with WUGA.

He said the Classic Center has a $50 million annual economic impact in Athens and the proposed arena would mean an additional $30 million. It would also create nearly 600 jobs.

Cramer added that aside from SPLOST funds, the Classic Center is self-supporting.
