Historic Athens is holding the 5th annual Porchfest this weekend. Seven different historic neighborhoods are participating this year. The event will feature over 200 bands from a wide array of musical genres including bluegrass, hip hop, rock, country and more. Tommy Valentine is Executive Director of Historic Athens. He says Porchfest is a time to celebrate Athens and its culture.
