Police Investigate Unexplained Death Found at Sandy Creek Nature Center

Athens-Clarke County Police Department

Police are investigating the death of a man found in a car parked at the Sandy Creek Nature Center.

A 64-year-old Hull man says he arrived at the park, noticed a Cadillac in the parking lot with the window down, and approached the car when he returned from his job.

He found a man unresponsive in the driver’s seat and called 911. Police have identified the man as 51-year-old Morris Benjamin Bullock of Hull.

Coroner Sonny Wilson says investigators do not suspect foul play at this time but an autopsy was ordered to determine the cause of death.
