The Clarke County School District is holding another community discussion on school safety Wednesday evening. The meeting is the latest in a series of discussions that are open to the public. The sessions feature CCSD leaders and members of the community suggesting ideas and solutions to promote safety at district schools. The Community Conversation on Safety takes place from 6 to 7 pm at the district office located at 595 Prince Avenue.
The Clarke County School District is also holding an open house for subcontractors and vendors interested in taking part in the upcoming Cedar Shoals High School renovation project. The event is for those seeking information on how to submit bids for performing work on the Phase 1 renovation project. The open house is Wednesday afternoon from 3 to 7 pm in the Vernon Payne Meeting Hall at the District Office on Prince Avenue. The bid submission deadline is Tuesday, November 21st at 3 pm.
