Athens Faith Community Hosting Peace Dialogue

Members of the Athens faith community are holding an Interfaith Peace Dialogue Thursday evening.
Nathan Byrd is the Pastor of Milledge Avenue Baptist Church. He spoke with WUGA about the upcoming event.
He believes these conversations are essential for progress on difficult issues.

Byrd is facilitating the discussion, which he says is open to all members of the Athens and surrounding communities.

The peace dialogue is being held at 6 pm Thursday evening at UGA’s Miller Learning Center located on Baxter Street. It is being presented by the Interfaith Clergy Partnership of Greater Athens, the Abrahamic Alliance and Inter Belief Works.
