Financial Distress Rising Problem in Georgia, Nation

The last few years have been financially challenging for many, thanks to inflation, the pandemic, and fluctuating unemployment. A recent report by the personal finance website WalletHub shows nearly seven million Americans are experiencing financial distress. Cassandra Happe is an analyst with WalletHub. She says Georgia has one of the highest levels of financial distress in the nation.

According to the report, nearly seven million Americans have at least one credit account where they are late on payments or have been allowed to delay them.

Analysts recommend debt consolidation, hardship programs, and debt management to get out of financial distress.
