UGA Commencement Will Take Place on Dec. 15 at Stegeman Coliseum

Almost 3,000 students are eligible to graduate this December from the University of Georgia, including nearly 2,000 undergraduates and over 1,000 graduate students.

The undergraduate commencement ceremony will occur at 10 am in the Stegeman Coliseum. Tickets are required. UGA alumnus and emeritus professor of finance at the University of Tennessee Harold Alonza Black will deliver the Commencement address. Dr. Black was among the first African American students to enroll as a freshman and complete their undergraduate degrees at UGA.

The graduate ceremony will occur at 2 pm in Stegeman Coliseum. Tickets are not required. Dean Dale Greene of the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources will speak at the ceremony. He is set to retire at the beginning of 2024.
