Athens residents in need of food assistance can receive some help Tuesday.
The East Athens Development Corporation is holding a food distribution Tuesday morning. It’s a regularly schedule event for the organization. Executive Director Fred Smith says volunteers are needed to help pack and distribute boxes of food during the drive-through event.
The food distribution is from 10 am until 2 pm Tuesday, December 19 at the East Athens Development Corporation located at 410 McKinley Drive.
