The voter registration deadline for the March 12 Presidential Preference Primary and Winterville Special Election is Feb. 12. People who need to register, change their name or addresses must do so by the deadline.
The Winterville special election decides if the city will “be authorized to permit and regulate Sunday Sales of distilled spirits or alcoholic beverages for beverage purposes by the drink.”
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on March 12. Early voting will begin on Feb. 19 and end on March 8.
