CCSD starts bidding for sale of historic Ellard Hall on administrative campus

Clarke County School District

A century-old house near Prince Avenue is up for sale, if the buyer is willing to move it off site.

The Clarke County School District has opened bidding for the purchase and relocation of historic Ellard Hall. The district plans to build a new student registration building in its place. The two-story house will be sold as-is and the new owner will be responsible for moving it off the property.

Bids for the 5.200 square foot building - which has two covered porches and three bathrooms - are due on Tuesday, April 30 by 2 p.m.

Ellard Hall is one of three historic residences on the campus. CCSD announced their plan to sell the two other historic residences last April.
