A multi-agency investigation has led to the arrest of three Athens men, and the seizure of drugs and multiple weapons. According to the Athens-Clarke County Police Department, several search warrants were served in Athens. During those searches, officers confiscated 19 firearms, two of the pistols were modified to be used as automatic weapons.
Additionally, authorities seized approximately 35 kilograms of cocaine, five pounds of methamphetamine, one kilogram of fentanyl, one kilogram of heroin.
Luis Reyes-Juarez, Luis Angel Campuzano, and Edwin Rolando Chavez, are charged with Trafficking illegal drugs.
