Athens-Clarke county police have made an arrest in a Wednesday morning shooting. Officers were called to the scene near Broad Street and Pulaski Street and found a 17-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to a local hospital and has not been released.
Officers arrested 20-year-old Quavarez Sanders of Athens. He is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated battery in connection with that shooting.
