UGA Expert on Potentially Record Setting Hurricane Season

June is the start of the Atlantic hurricane season and experts say this year is expected to be one of the busiest hurricane seasons on record.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA predicted between 17 and 25 named storms this season.
Dr. Marshall Shepherd a Georgia Athletic Association Distinguished Professor and director of the of Atmospheric Sciences program at the University of Georgia. He explains why this year could set records.
