AADM to Host Athens Juneteenth 2024 Celebration

The Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement is holding a Juneteenth celebration on Saturday, June 15, 2024. The event will include music, food, an educational art display, and more. In addition, nonprofit organizations will be on the scene to raise awareness about what resources they provide for the community. The event is made possible by a grant from the Athens-Clarke County Government.

Mokah Jasmine Johnson is president and co-founder of the AADM and one of the event organizers. She discussed the celebration with WUGA.
