Artists in Athens have until September 10th to apply for a free course in public art.

The 6-week course is offered free of charge through a partnership between the Athens-Clarke County government and Triangle Artworks, a North-Carolina based advocacy and education group.

During the online course, artists will learn how to take their art from the studio to public spaces by examining case studies, building their resumes, and more.

The course will take place from October to November, and applicants need to submit their materials by September 10th. Invitations to join the course will be extended by September 17th.
