The suspect in the Apalachee High School shooting is scheduled to have a first appearance Friday morning in Barrow County Superior Court. 14-year-old Colt Gray is expected to be tried as an adult. Gray has been charged with four counts of felony murder in the Wednesday morning shooting which left four people dead, and nine others wounded.

Also, Richard Aspinwall who taught math at the school and was a defensive coordinator for the Apalachee Wildcats football team and Christina Irimie who also taught math.
Authorities say Gray had previously been questioned by law enforcement last year when he was 13 for anonymous tips about online threats to commit a school shooting. According to a Facebook post from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, The FBI responded to those threats, which Gray denied making, but found there was no probable cause for arrest or to take any additional law enforcement action.
Authorities say the suspected shooter used an AR Platform weapon.
