The father of the teen accused of killing four people at Apalachee High School was taken into custody Thursday, now charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second degree murder and eight counts of cruelty to children.

54 year old Colin Gray is being held at the Barrow County Jail. The charges are directly connected to the actions of his 14 year old son Colt. GBI Director Chris Hosey says law enforcement believes the father knowingly allowed his son to possess the weapon.

Colt Gray is being held at the Gainesville Regional Youth Detention Center on four counts of murder. The GBI has said that additional charges are expected. He will be tried as an adult and is set to make his first court appearance this morning at the Barrow County courthouse,
