A student in Oconee County Schools was detained today for making terroristic threats.
At approximately 2:30 pm on Friday, Oconee County Schools posted to Instagram that a student from Malcolm Bridge Middle School had been detained by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office reported that the threats were not credible and that no danger was posed to the community.
