The candidates for District Attorney are scheduled to debate

On Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 6:30 p.m., Gonzalez and Yalamanchili will participate in a candidate forum debate at Hill Chapel Baptist Church. Tharon Johnson, founder and CEO of Paramount Consulting Group, will moderate the forum.

Yalamanchili, an independent, is running against Gonzalez in the Nov. 5 general election. He was a part of the district’s prosecutorial staff, but shortly left when she took office in 2020.
