The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is investigating a suspicious death. Police say on October 19th, at approximately 9 am, officers responded to an injured person call on Trail Creek Trail near the intersection of Oak Ridge Avenue and Vine Street. They located 48-year-old Santonio Coleman. He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police do not believe there is any danger to the public.
