Clarke county sheriff's office hosts Fall festival

Clarke County Sheriff's Office

The third fall festival for the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office will be held tomorrow (October 25th) at the Sheriff’s training center located at 2900 County Farm Road. It will feature a haunted house, hay rides, trapeze performances, face painting, and more. Additionally, a free hot dog dinner will be provided as long as supplies last. Sheriff John Q. Williams reported he is holding the festival as a safe and secure location for children and their families to have a Halloween outing.

If you are attending, you’re asked to park at Satterfield Park or the Walmart on Lexington Road and take a free shuttle bus to the location. The festival is one night only, but the Haunted House will be open again on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. More information can be found on the event's Facebook page.

According to the sheriff’s office, the festival is part of their effort to foster a positive relationship with the community.
