After receiving a $50,000 JournalismAI and Google News Initiative grant, The Oglethorpe Echo newspaper is pioneering ways to use AI to its advantage. WUGA’s Mary Ryan Howarth has more.

Mary Ryan Howarth is a recent graduate from the University of Georgia. She started as an intern at WUGA and quickly became a part-time reporter and producer.
