Leadership changes at 5 elementary schools in CCSD

The Clarke County School District announced that several elementary school principals will be reassigned to new schools within the district, four of whom will be leading other schools.

Tuesday, Dr. Robbie Hooker, Clarke County School District Superintendent, announced the reassignment of five elementary principals to new schools within the district. This will take effect on July 1.

Dr. Beverly Harper will become the new principal of Howard B. Stroud Elementary. Dr. Stacie Carson will m ove over to Fowler Drive Elementary. Principal Pamela Garcia will be over J.J. Harris. Principal Aliceson Nobles will become the new principal at Gaines Elementary School.

Dr. Luther Daniel will be a part of the administration over at Clarke Central High school as the assistant principal. The district administration will be working with Barnett Shoals local school governance team to find a candidate to become the next principal.

“These transfers are being initiated after a great deal of thought as to the needs of each school in pursuit of our vision to be a high-performing school district that ensures all students can access opportunities and positively contribute to their communities,” said Dr. Hooker.
