On Friday, the Athens Clarke County Police Department announced that Northeast Georgia Regional Drug Task Force conducted a search warrant in the 100 bock of Bedford Drive on February 26 in reference to the distribution of fentanyl.
The task force, assisted by ACCPD’s Strategic Response Team, detained three residents including Quincy Brooks, a 47-year-old male from Athens.
During the search quantities of fentanyl, cocaine, and Schedule IV pharmaceuticals were recovered. Brooks was charged with Possession of Fentanyl with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Schedule IV with Intent to Distribute.
