The GBI suspects foul play in a death now under investigation in Oglethorpe County.

A body was found February 25th in the Double Bridges Road area. The Oglethorpe County Sheriff’s Office reported the body was located in a bushy area very close to the Clarke County line.

The body has not been positively identified at this point and investigators are still processing the scene. In an official post on Facebook, the Sheriff's Office stated that the name will be released after a positive identification is made and next of kin are notified.
