The Marigold Collective fights food insecurity in Winterville, Georgia. To benefit its several ongoing projects that connect people to fresh food, it will hold the Marigold Mingle next Saturday at 6 pm at the Marigold Auditorium for Arts and Culture.
Dr. Laura Ney is the UGA Extension Agent for Athens-Clarke County and is the Marigold Collective’s Board Chair. Andrea Demarcus is a singer and bass player for the band Cicada Rhythm, which will headline the event. They sat down with WUGA’s Emma Auer to discuss what attendees can expect.
