The State Botanical Garden on South Milledge Avenue in Athens attracts many visitors each day. It will hold a plant sale to support its growth on Friday and Saturday.
The State Botanical Garden of Georgia will host a spring plant sale on April 18 and 19 in order to raise funds for the upkeep of the public garden. Jason Young, the director of horticulture and grounds at the garden, said there will be native Georgia plants there as well as experts to answer questions and advise shoppers.
