According to Labor Commissioner Barbara Rivera Holmes, there are three job openings for every Georgian. Jobs were up 6,900 over the month and up 23,100 over the year to more than four million, nine hundred thousand (4,979,500).

The sectors with the most over-the-month growth included health care and social assistance, information, and administrative and support services.
