The University of Georgia recently passed a major milestone – the creation of the university’s one-thousandth need-based scholarship for UGA students.
Andy Borst, UGA’s Vice Provost for Enrollment Management, discusses the difference these scholarships make in the lives of university students with WUGA’s Greg Trevor. It’s the latest segment in WUGA’s ongoing series, “A Few Minutes With …” exploring university initiatives and their benefits.
In the 2023-2024 academic year, UGA’s Office of Student Financial Aid awarded more than $9 million in need-based aid. More information is available at UGA’s Office of Student Financial Aid website.
