Slots still open for Clarke County pre-K

According to a media release, the Clarke County School District still has pre-K spots open for the 2025-26 school year. Those openings are at both the district’s early learning centers and several elementary schools. To be eligible, students must turn four years old by September 1, 2025. Families need two proofs of residency, parent or guardian ID, student’s birth certificate and social security card, and a Georgia immunization form. To register, or for more information, visit The Clarke County School District website. In-person appointments for registration assistance are also available at the district office.

The district currently has spots available at the following schools:

● Early Learning Center East

● Early Learning Center West

● Barrow Elementary

● Fowler Drive Elementary

● Gaines Elementary

● J.J. Harris Elementary

● Bettye H. Holston Elementary

● Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary

● Howard B. Stroud Elementary

● Whit Davis Elementary

● Whitehead Road Elementary

● Winterville Elementary.

Students are assigned to schools based on their residential address.
