As long as your dog didn’t eat your report card, students with good grades can swim for free this summer.

All Athens-Clarke County students, Kindergarten through 12th grade, can bring their report cards to any public pool facility to swim for free.

Students just need to bring a copy of their report card to a pool facility office to redeem for a pool pass. Report cards with all A’s, or all 4’s for International Baccalaureate classes, are worth a pool pass for the whole summer.

While report cards with all A’s and B’s, or all 3’s and 4’s, can be redeemed for 10 free swims.

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department operates five public pools, located at Bishop Park, Heard Park, Lay Park, Memorial Park, and Howard Park.
