The University of Georgia raised a record $300.4 million in private support in fiscal year 2025, marking the first time its fundraising surpassed $300 million. More than 72,460 donors, including alumni, students, parents, and corporate partners, contributed to key initiatives such as scholarships, faculty support, and the new School of Medicine.

Privately funded scholarships impacted over 9,500 students this academic year. The School of Medicine secured $100 million for its new Medical Education and Research Building less than a year after its announcement.
Additional highlights include $1.5 million raised by the Parents Leadership Council, a Senior Signature record of over $115,000, and more than 13,000 gifts during Dawg Day of Giving.

President Jere W. Morehead thanked donors for fueling UGA’s fundraising mission, saying “Our donors’ support is essential to advancing education, research, and healthcare in Georgia, and I’m grateful for their commitment to UGA’s mission of excellence.”
