The Clarke County School District has announced that, starting Monday, July 28th, it will temporarily offer in-person registration in addition to online registration, for students.
The in-person registration will last from Monday, July 28th, to Tuesday, August 5th. The first day of school for the district will be Wednesday, August 6th.
To register a student, the District Office gymnasium at 595 Prince Avenue will be open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Registration will not be available on Wednesday, July 30th, due to a professional learning event.
The special enrollment period will be done on a first-come, first-served basis. To avoid waiting in lines, the district is encouraging parents to register their students by Friday, July 25th.
Families who plan to enroll their students in person must bring two proofs of residency dated within the last 30 days, a parent/guardian ID, the student’s birth certificate/passport, the student’s social security card, and the Georgia Immunization Form 3231.
CCSD will continue to offer online registration during the temporary period of in-person registration. More information and online registration is available on the district’s website – www.clarke.k12.ga.us - and can be accessed 24 hours a day.
