The World Health Organization reports vaccines prevent 4 to 5 million deaths globally per year. A recent study by the personal finance website WalletHub examined the vaccine rates in each state. Analyst Chip Lupo said Georgia is 2025’s 4th least vaccinated state. Is among the least vaccinated.
“Georgia is right down there with some of the other states at the bottom of the list,” according to Lupo. “Georgia ranks 48th out of 50 states and Washington D.C. It’s 47th for immunization rates for children and teenagers, 44th in adults and elderly vaccinations, and 49th in its, what we call uptake disparities and influencing factors.”
