CCSD surpasses state, national SAT averages

Nicole Jordan

The Clarke County School District’s Class of 2025 has once again surpassed state and national averages on the SAT, marking the second year in a row the district has led public-school peers.

The Georgia Department of Education and College Board released results Sept. 30, showing CCSD students averaged 1048, 19 points higher than the state average of 1029 and 52 points above the national average of 996. While slightly lower than the Class of 2024’s 1056, scores still reflected strong performance.
