The deadline for nominating a community member for the 2026 President’s Fulfilling the Dream Award is approaching.
The deadline to nominate individuals from the University of Georgia and Athens-Clarke County residents for the 2026 President’s Fulfilling the Dream Award is October 15, 2025. Recipients will be awarded at the Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Breakfast.
The Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Breakfast will be hosted on January 16, 2026. Recipients of the award must show commitment to volunteerism, civic engagement, resolving conflict, fostering goodwill, and more.
The University of Georgia hosts this annual event to honor the late civil rights leader. This award recognizes students, faculty, staff, and local community members who are working towards his dream of equality and justice.
