High school seniors looking to attend college can now apply to multiple colleges or universities in the state of Georgia without paying an application fee.
Through the entire month of November, high school seniors can apply to over 60 colleges and universities in the state of Georgia for free. The Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC) has partnered with the University System of Georgia, the Technical College System of Georgia, and private institutions to let students have their application fees waived. This will be the fifth year that the GSFC promoted application fee waivers in November.
In a press release announcing the waivers, Governor Kemp said, “Whether at a USG, TCSG, or private institution, we want Georgia students to know that they can receive a great education that will set them up for success without having to leave this state.”
Students that apply through the Georgia Match direct admission dashboard in November will have their application waived. Interested applicants can visit GAFutures.org to see the full list of participating institutions and learn more about the process.
