January 12th starts Georgia’s annual legislative session. The session lasts for 40 days but these days may not be consecutive. As it stands, the session is scheduled to conclude on April 2.
During this time, Georgia lawmakers will come together in Atlanta to discuss and vote on new legislation along with addressing the state’s budget and existing laws.
