Clarke County BOE seeks public input in superintendent search

The Clarke County Board of Education is asking members of the community to weigh in on the search for the district’s next school superintendent. CCSD has developed a six-question survey for district families, staff, students, and residents to complete by Saturday, January 31, 2026.

In September 2025, the board voted to contract with the Georgia School Boards Association to lead the search process.
The position is posted on the GSBA website and applications are being accepted through Sunday, February 1, 2026.

The BOE will provide updates on the search as they become available. Visit GSBA.com/superintendent-search/ for more information.

Dr. Jennifer Scott is currently the Interim Superintendent. She took over the helm after Superintendent Dr. Robbie Hooker retired from the position on July 1, 2025.
