UGA’s online degree programs rank in the top 20 of the nation

Online education can mean accessibility and upward mobility and UGA understands this.

Several of The University of Georgia’s online degree programs have been ranked in the top 10 of 2026’s best online programs according to U.S. News & World Report.

The University has maintained its position as a top 20 school for Best Online Master's in Education, ranking at 18.

UGA's online education programs ranked number three nationally for Best Online Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and Best Online Master’s in Educational/Instructional Media Design.

UGA also improved its online graduation ranking, jumping from the 20th spot to the 7th spot overall.

Over the last two years, UGA has added 30 new online programs, including the university’s first online doctoral program from The Mary Frances Early College of Education.

Alexzundra Tillman is a part-time reporter and producer. She is currently pursuing her masters degree in Film and Television studies at UGA and hopes to work at the cross section of these two fields in the future.
