Agricultural climatologist Pam Knox monitors the effects of climate change on agriculture throughout the U.S. Here, she checks a weather monitoring system at Durham Horticulture Farm in Watkinsville, Ga. on April 8, 2022.

Pam Knox has spent her career as an agricultural climatologist and the director of the University of Georgia’s Weather Network. And, she’s been a frequent guest on WUGA. She has observed climate data in Georgia for over 25 years. Now, she’s officially retired. She sat down with WUGA’s Alexzundra Tillman for a look back on her career, and a look forward at the future of Georgia’s climate.

Alexzundra Tillman is a part-time reporter and producer. She is currently pursuing her masters degree in Film and Television studies at UGA and hopes to work at the cross section of these two fields in the future.
