New comic Dino Town replaces long-running strip Shady Creek

A comic shows a town near a volcano and animal-like characters walking and biking through the streets. — A sneak peek of a couple panels for Joey Weiser's upcoming comic, Dino Town.

Joey Weiser has been publishing his monthly comic Shady Creek in Flagpole Magazine for the last two and a half years. Now, Shady Creek has come to an end, and Joey is starting a new comic called Dino Town. He sat down with WUGA’s Havivah Saltz to discuss his work.

Havivah Saltz has been with WUGA since 2023 as an on-air host and the producer for African Perspectives.
