Are you passionate about your community? Do you want to help support public radio in Athens? WUGA is looking for members of the public to join our Community Advisory Council (CAC).
The Community Advisory Council meets quarterly and supports WUGA’s mission by helping staff to organize and execute outreach efforts throughout the community. They also act as a sounding board, helping to ensure that the station is meeting the educational, coverage and cultural needs of the communities it serves.
Members additionally help by connecting station staff to their network, expanding WUGA’s reach throughout the community.
