Athens StoryCorps: Paul Kurtz and Lawton Stephens

Retired Dean Paul Kurtz was Judge Lawton Stephens’ professor in law school at the University of Georgia, and they have since become good friends. In this conversation, they trade stories about memories they have from growing up and the times they have shared together. StoryCorps Athens stories were recorded in Fall 2018 in the StoryCorps Mobile Booth at the Athens-Clarke County Library. These interviews were recorded as part of a national initiative to record and collect the stories of everyday people.
