Whether it's sitting around a campfire or huddled around a radio, listening to stories together is a human tradition as old as time. It's also something we don't get a chance to do very often anymore.
That's why we've created this opportunity for us all to ditch our screens and spend a Fall evening outside together at Sandy Creek Nature Center!
Join us Friday, September 19th for OFFSCREEN: a FREE WUGA community listening event. Bring a picnic, spread out on the grass, and spend time listening to live music from Cicada Rhythm and stories of This American Life.
King of Pops will be on-site selling popsicles and we'll have free popcorn!
PLEASE NOTE:
- No smoking or vaping allowed on the property.
- No alcohol is allowed in the park.
- No open fires or grills.
- Dogs must be on a leash and under control.
- Leave no trace - attendees are expected to leave the grounds in the same condition they found it. Trash cans will be provided.
- No tampering with the natural landscape.
- Do not disturb, harass, harm, trap or remove any living creature or creature habitats in the park.
