FBI Offers $5K for Info on 'Dangerous' Georgia Gang Member

DECATUR, Ga. (AP) — The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a Georgia gang member it says is armed and dangerous.

News outlets report the agency said Tuesday that it is seeking information on 25-year-old Antariouse "Phat" Caldwell, who was indicted last year of an anti-racketeering charge of conspiracy to murder. FBI Special Agent Buddy Early tells WSB-TV that Caldwell is considered armed and dangerous.

Early says Caldwell has repeatedly eluded authorities and may still be in the area because of strong family ties in DeKalb County. Authorities say his picture will be displayed on several billboards throughout the area starting Wednesday.

Caldwell was one of dozens of gang members, including a former DeKalb County police officer, who were indicted in 2016 on federal anti-racketeering charges.
