 Nothing Funny About Money  is the brainchild of hosts Dr. Matt J. Goren, CFP and Dr. Michael G. Thomas, Jr., AFC. As financial educators, they've helped create and run a dozen financial literacy programs, including Money Dawgs and Discovering Money Solutions here in Athens, GA. They've also taught thousands of students across the United States and provide 1:1 financial advising and coaching.

 
Their intended audience is people who find personal finance a bit scary and frustrating but still need help. The focus of Nothing Funny About Money is less on money and more on quality of life, setting goals and being solution-focused, he said, while adding humor and levity to attract a broad audience.
